The Protest Movement of the Vietnam War is very important for Americans everywhere to know about because it made citizens realize that they can influence and play an important role in the decisions that their country takes. Just like those that protested against the Vietnam War, if enough people fight for what they believe in, they are capable of making a real difference. Whenever a majority of the population disagrees with the policies being put into place, they should speak up and demand change. After all the United States is a country “of the people for the people”.
